Full Job Description for Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer shall be responsible for:
- Troubleshoot any applications and software in larger environments.
- Expert in all Cloud with deployment, maintenance, and auditing.
- Understanding the MITRE attack to protect company infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of Windows, and Linux Operating Systems, Database security, Service Oriented Architectures, and Vulnerability testing.
- Expert in developing technical solutions including information operations.
- Solid understanding and implementation of best practices (NIST, CSA, OWASP, ISO)
- Self-managing and management of timelines to accomplish the projects.
- Collaborating with business and technical members across the enterprise to understand the current cyber security state.
- Identifying gaps between existing controls and cyber security roadmap.
- Engineering the solutions (processes, technologies) to mitigate the control gaps.
- Presenting the proposed solutions to the Senior Information Security Officer.
- Documenting and implementing the new security controls.
- Solid understanding of engineering AI and machine learning.
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Management, or related discipline from an accredited institution with 5 or more years of experience in that discipline.
- Experience with cyber engineering or IT support is required.
- Experience working in a security program with a team of cybersecurity experts.
- CISSP or equivalent is required.
- The role requires the individual to understand the different security challenges across the entire technology stack, including physical, networking, and application.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technology and security (AWS, Google, and Azure).
- Knowledge of application security (static analysis, dynamic analysis, automated testing)
- Knowledge of application platform, infrastructure, and server management.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Powershell, bash).
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Job is performed remotely office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates, supervises, and/or manages support personnel.
